Why This Matters

In today’s world, organizations are navigating not only the demands of their work but also the emotional undercurrents of the climate crisis, systemic change, and societal instability. These pressures can show up in your teams as burnout, conflict, disengagement, or a sense of hopelessness — even when people are deeply committed to the mission.

Climate psychology offers a framework for understanding these emotional realities and working with them directly, rather than letting them quietly erode morale, creativity, and effectiveness. When paired with emotional resilience practices, it can transform how teams respond to stress, uncertainty, and change.

What We Focus On

A consultation engagement might include:

  • Climate-Aware Leadership Development – helping leaders understand and respond to climate-related stress in their teams.

  • Burnout & Moral Injury Prevention – recognizing the signs early and building systems of care and sustainability into daily work.

  • Resilience Skills Training – practical, evidence-based tools for emotional regulation, grounding, and collective problem-solving.

  • Facilitated Team Conversations – safe, structured spaces to explore climate-related emotions, fears about the future, and how they connect to the organization’s mission.

  • Values-Based Action Planning – supporting teams in translating emotional insight into aligned, sustainable action.

As Susi Moser reminds us, "Burnt-out people aren't equipped to serve a burning planet."
